Updated, both found safe: Another woman is missing and endangered in South County

Update: The advisory has been canceled after Sara Brancato was found safe in Illinois.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol has issued another endangered person advisory for a woman in South County, after one was issued over the weekend for a woman who was later found safe.

The St. Louis County Police Department said Sara A. Brancato, who is 30 years old and white, went missing Monday morning. She was last seen at 9:15 a.m. at 5900 Apple Valley Drive in Affton, 63123.

Police described Brancato as a white woman who is 30 years old, 5 feet, 5 inches in height, 160 pounds, with brown hair, green eyes, and a large scar on her inner right thigh. She was last seen wearing a red T-shirt and shorts of an unknown color.

She was last seen driving away in a silver 2009 Ford Fusion with the Missouri license plate CU2U3G, but it is not known what direction she was going.

Brancato suffers from post-traumatic stress disorder and is diagnosed as bipolar, police said. She has a history of suicidal thoughts and made a statement to her mother that she “couldn’t take it any longer” and that she would drive her car off a bridge.

Anyone who sees Brancato or has any information related to the endangered missing person should immediately dial 911 to contact the nearest law enforcement agency or call the St. Louis County Police Department at 636-529-8210.

Previously, Kristy Marlow of Lemay went missing Friday night, but was found safe Saturday.
