The Lindbergh High School Math Building is coming down today, the first major step in construction of the new Lindbergh High School.
The building demolition is the first major step in construction for the $89 million new Lindbergh High School, which will be built at the site of the current LHS using some new and some old buildings. The Math Building will make way for construction of a new building.
The building demolition kicks off a planned three-year construction for the new high school, down from the original four-year timeline.
The demolition of the Math Building is expected to last several days, the district said.
