Kristin and David Vergano of St. Louis announce the birth of their first child, Nico Anthony, 20½ inches, 7 pounds, 5 ounces. He was born July 13 at Mercy Hospital St. Louis.

Grandparents are Patricia and Mark Manley of Concord.
