Tom and Debbie Varga of Arnold announce the birth of their first child, Sophia Marie, 19½ inches, 7 pounds, 7 ounces. She was born Dec. 14 at Mis-souri Baptist Medical Center.
Maternal grandparents are Mary and Sonny Boxdorfer of Perryville.
Paternal grandparents are Betty and Ed Varga of Arnold.
