Two South County residents living on the 7000 block of Blue Mountain Drive received multiple charges on June 18 relating to sex crimes against minors.
Marissa Thomas, 37, has been charged with second-degree statutory sodomy, first-degree endangering the welfare of a child creating substantial risk, fourth-degree child molestation and two counts of furnishing pornographic material or attempting to furnish to a minor.
Christopher Stewart, 35, was charged with first-degree statutory rape or attempted statutory rape, two counts of statutory sodomy or attempted sodomy with a person less than 14 years old and two counts of fourth-degree child molestation.
Charges are merely accusations. Defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
On June 18, officers responded to a call to execute a search warrant on the residence where Thomas and Stewart live. Upon arrival, they found the residence to be in a state of potential inhabitability. Officers interviewed at least four confidential victims who told police that Thomas and Stewart had performed sex acts on them while they were minors.
Investigators believe there could be additional victims. Anyone who believes they may have been victimized by Thomas and/or Stewart is urged to contact St. Louis County Police Department Bureau of Crimes Against Persons detectives at 314-615-5400.
