Anthony and Theresa Turek of Oakville celebrated 50 years of marriage Nov. 30.

Anthony Turek and the former Theresa Podgornik were wed Nov. 30, 1973,  at St. Andrews Catholic Church by Fr. Robert Dietz.

Mr. Turek is retired with Turek Electrical Services. Mrs. Turek is retired from working with the Veterans Affairs Medical Center. 

They are the parents of Jessica Shipp, 42, and Anthony Turek, 47. The couple has five grandchildren who all live in St. Louis. 

The couple enjoys spending time with their grandchildren, and at their lake house in Terre du Lac.
