Police are still looking for a suspect after a dispute between a man’s girlfriend and an ex-wife ended in a stabbing at the Chuck E. Cheese’s by South County Center Tuesday night.
Officers from the St. Louis County Police Department’s South County Precinct responded to a disturbance at the Chuck E. Cheese’s at 720 South County Center Way about 7:15 p.m. Tuesday. Police found a female victim, 24, who said she had been stabbed by her boyfriend’s ex-wife.
Police said the victim alleged the confrontation kicked off when her boyfriend’s ex-wife, 32, threatened to cut the tires on the man’s car in the Chuck E. Cheese’s parking lot. When the victim approached the ex-wife, the ex-wife allegedly stabbed the girlfriend in the hands, face and neck with a knife, then left the scene before officers arrived.
The girlfriend was taken to a local hospital, but her injuries were all non-life-threatening.
The woman wanted for questioning in the stabbing is still at large as of today — Thursday, Jan. 15 — said police spokesman Shawn McGuire.
Police would not provide the name of the at-large suspect or the victim.
