Sunset Hills City Hall, 3939 S. Lindbergh Blvd., will open one hour earlier every weekday beginning this week, the mayor said Monday.

City Hall will be open from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday starting Wednesday, Mayor Bill Nolan said.

Officials planned to announce the change to the Board of Aldermen at its regular meeting Tuesday — after the Call went to press.

The city’s administration building previously has opened at 8 a.m. Monday through Friday. Nolan said the change in hours will “better serve the people” as residents will be able to pay fines and conduct other business with the city before they go to work in the morning.
