Lindbergh High School 2011 graduate Gretchen Kohl was the highest achiever in St. Louis on the National Spanish Exam this year.
For her efforts and success, Gretchen received a plaque indicating her achievement, a book that will be donated in her name to the Lindbergh High School library and a check for $1,000, according to a school-district news release.
Kohl was been a member of the Spanish Club and the Spanish Honor Society, and was a participant in the school’s Costa Rica exchange program.
She will attend the University of Evansville in the fall.
