Scott and Autumn Spayer of Oakville announce the birth of their first child, Emma Rose, 201⁄2 inches, 7 pounds, 3 ounces.

She was born Sept. 5 at Missouri Baptist Hospital.

Maternal grandparents are Sheri Roland and Tom May of California.

Paternal grandparents are Don and Ruth Spayer of Illinois.
