The Mehlville School District and South County Kiwanis Club held a barbecue last week for the district’s 60plus members at the final 60plus event of the school year. Barbecue was prepared by the South County Kiwanis Club and served by the district’s School Food and Nutrition Services staff with help from Washington Middle School students. Entertainment was provided by the Washington Middle band and choir, and centerpiece sculptures on the tables were created by Washington Middle art students. The Kiwanis Club also awarded two scholarships to graduating seniors, Amelia Adams from Oakville High School and Rachel Trosky from Mehlville High School.
