Friday, Nov. 1

  • Celebrate the 75th anniversary of the 1944 Cardinals-Browns World Series with co-author of “The St. Louis Browns: The Story of A Beloved Team” Ed Wheatley, at Grant’s View Branch of the St. Louis County Library, 9700 Musick Road at 2 p.m. Copies of books will be available for purchase.   • Friends of the Rainforest will host its sixth annual trivia night at Miriam School, 501 Bacon Ave., in Webster Groves. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. and trivia begins at 6:30 p.m. Proceeds will benefit the non-profit agency, which educates and inspires children and adults to protect, support and expand the rainforest.
