Friday, March 3

• There will be a holy hour for priestly and religious vocations from 7 to 8 p.m. at the Monastery of St. Clare, 200 Marcycrest Drive. The monastery is south of the Bethesda Nursing Facility off of the 6000 block of Telegraph Road.

• St. Matthias the Apostle Catholic Church, 800 Buckley Road, is hosting fish frys every Friday  from 4 to 7 p.m. now through the end of March. There will be dine-in and carry-out meals available. Cost is about $13 a meal.

• St. Catherine Laboure, 9740 Sappington Road, is hosting a fish fry from 4:30 to 7 p.m. Cost is $12 and $6 for kids.

• SAJE Senior Ministry is hosting chair yoga at 10:30 a.m. at Concord Trinity United Methodist Church, 5275 S. Lindbergh Blvd. Admission is $3 and SilverSneakers is accepted.

• SAJE Senior Ministry is hosting ZumbaGold at 11:30 a.m. at Concord Trinity United Methodist Church, 5275 S. Lindbergh Blvd. Admission is $3.

Saturday, March 4

• The Ladies of Oakland House are hosting Cafe du Matin (morning coffee) from 10 to 11:30 a.m. at the Oakland House, 7810 Genesta Ave. The program will feature a fashion show with garments from 1850 to 1890. Reservations are required, call 314-842-0149. Cost is $20 per person.

Sunday, March 5

• The Crestwood Elks are holding a spring meat shoot every Sunday at 11 a.m. from now through March 26 at the Crestwood Elks Lodge 2503, 10261 Bauer Road. Free soup and chili for all.

• The St. Lucas United Church of Christ, 11735 Denny Road, is hosting a free community meal from 4 to 5:30 p.m. Carry-out offered.

Monday, March 6

• St Luke’s United Methodist Church, 2761 Telegraph Road, is having a Red Cross Blood Drive from 2 to 6 p.m. To make an appointment, visit www.redcrossblood.org/give.html/donation-time and search for the St. Luke’s blood drive by zip code. Appointments can also be made by calling 1-800-733-2767. Walk-ins also welcome.

Tuesday, March 7

• The Mehlville Lions Club will meet at  6 to 7 p.m. at Cafe Telegraph, 2650 Telegraph Road.

• GriefShare meets at 6:30 p.m. at Lutheran Church of Webster Gardens, 8749 Watson Road.

Wednesday, March 8

• The Kiwanis Club of South County meets at 12:30-1:30 p.m. at Frailey’s Southtown Grill, 4329 Butler Hill Road.

• South County Toastmasters meets at 6 p.m. at the Sunset Hills Community Center, 3915 S. Lindbergh Blvd.

• The Rotary Club of Crestwood and Sunset Hills meets at Jubilee Church, 10801 Sunset Office Drive, at noon.

Thursday, March 9

• SAJE Senior Ministry is hosting a lunch and learn at 11 a.m. at St. Thomas/Holy Spirit Lutheran Church, 3980 S. Lindbergh Blvd. The presentation is “Alzheimer’s and other dementias” presented by Catherine Kush of Empower Me Wellness. Lunch will be at noon following the program. Cost is $5.

• The Affton Community Center, 9801 Mackenzie Road, is hosting open pickleball from 9:30 – 11:45, noon – 1:30 p.m. and 1:45 – 3:15 p.m. Admission is $2 per person or free for Renew Active and SilverSneakers members. Reservations start Monday at 8 a.m. by calling 314-615-8822.
