Celebrate the holidays |The Christ Memorial Women’s Guild will host a Cookie Walk and Holiday Boutique from 8 a.m. to noon at Christ Memorial Lutheran Church, 5252 S. Lindbergh Blvd. There will be hundreds of decorated cookies, breads and more, with gluten-free options available. Cookies are $12 per pound.
Get your workout in | Stop by the Grant’s View Branch of the St. Louis County Library, 9700 Musick Road, from 10 – 11 a.m. for beginner yoga. The class — described as a gentle and foundational class to learn yoga poses, breathwork, meditation and alignment — is open to teens and adults of all skill levels. Please dress comfortably and bring your own mat or towel.

Celebrate the holidays |The Bread and Wine Theatre Company will host its Christmas Short Play Festival at the Historic Sappington House, 1015 S. Sappington Road, at 2 p.m. or 7 p.m. The festival highlights new work from across the country, features up-and-coming St. Louis artists and includes pieces that deal with joy and pain that the Christmas season can bring. Celebrate the holidays | Experience White Haven in the evening during the holidays. Lights will illuminate the grounds and historic house from 5:30 – 6:45 p.m. at the Ulysses S. Grant National Historic Site, 7400 Grant Road. Enjoy Christmas songs performed by the St. Louis Christmas Carolers outside the house. Inside, the decorated rooms will glow with “candlelight,” and as you walk through the house, you’ll hear period holiday music performed by guitarist Patrick Rafferty. In the dining room, you can enjoy 19th-century treats served by food historian Suzanne Corbett, and learn about 19th-century etiquette and holiday culinary customs.

Celebrate the holidays | Enjoy a festive concert from 7 – 8 p.m. by the Buckhannon Brothers in the park theater at the Ulysses S. Grant National Historic Site, 7400 Grant Road. Visitors are invited to attend the earlier candlelight tour of White Haven and the concert, or both. Activities are free and no reservations are required.
