Friday, Dec. 20

  • First Baptist Church of Oakville, 6741 Telegraph Road, is hosting an indoor computerized light show at 7 p.m., and again on Dec. 21. The event is free and free cookies and hot chocolate will be provided.
  • Crown Ridge Tiger Sanctuary, 19620 Crown Ridge, Ste. Genevieve, 63670, is hosting a holiday light tour from 5 to 8 p.m. The sanctuary grounds will be lit up by hundreds of holiday lights. Learn about the tigers, decorate cookies and enjoy the hot chocolate bar. Tickets are $10 a person and must be purchased prior to arrival and for a specific date.   • Peace Lutheran Church, 737 Barracksview Road, will host Christmas at Peace at 7:15 p.m., featuring The Chancel Choir, The Bells of Peace and The Orchestra of Peace.

  • The Oakville Elks Lodge is hosting their annual Hoop Shoot free throw contest at Queen of All Saints School, 6603 Christopher Drive, at 9:30 a.m. This is a free program for all boys and girls ages 8 to 13.
