Thursday, May 3

• Mothers of Preschoolers will meet from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. at South County Church of the Nazarene, 2500 Telegraph Road. Child care is provided.

• The SAJE Senior Ministry will sponsor open-play pickleball, including instruction for new players, from noon to 3 p.m. at the St. Elizabeth of Hungary gymnasium, 1414 S. Sappington Road. The cost is $3.

• The Crestwood-Sunset Hills Kiwanis Club will meet from 11:45 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Rich & Charlie’s, 9942 Watson Road. • Overeaters Anonymous will meet at 7:30 p.m. at 9907 Gravois Road, Suite E. Enter at the rear of the building. For more information, call (636) 467-7023.

• The MOMS Club of St. Louis County-South will meet at 10 a.m. at Grace Union Church, 3900 Union Road. The chapter includes members from south county and Jefferson County.

• A Holy Hour for priestly and religious vocations will take place from 7 to 8 p.m. at the Monastery of St. Clare, 200 Marycrest Drive.

Saturday, May 5

• The St. Louis County Library celebrates Free Comic Book Day from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Stop in at your local branch to receive a free comic book, while supplies last. The Comic Grind, a coffee and comics truck, will be at Grant’s View Library, 9700 Musick Road, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

• The St. Louis Greenhouse Plant Society will host its annual plant sale with over 12,000 locally-grown plants, including perennials, herbs, tropicals, succulents, vegetables, aquatics, native plants and pollinator attractors, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. today and from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday at the South County Technical High School Greenhouse, 12721 Watson Road. Proceeds will fund St. Louis County and city parks, youth and community gardens and Special School District students. The 2017 plant sale raised more than $20,000.

• St. Luke’s United Methodist Church, 2761 Telegraph Road, hosts a free Community BBQ and Concert from noon to 2 p.m. Event is in the church gym and is handicapped-accessible. All ages welcome. A basic first-aid class will be offered at 2 p.m.

Sunday, May 6

• Overeaters Anonymous will meet from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. at 9907 Gravois Road, Suite E. Enter at the rear of the building.

Monday, May 7

• The St. Louis County Senior Card Club for pinochle and bridge players meets from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Crestwood Community Center, 9245 Whitecliff Park Lane.

• Line dancing will be offered at the Concord Farmers Club, 10140 Concord School Road. Lessons are offered from 6:15 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., followed by open dancing until 9:15 p.m.

• ROC Ministries, 802 Kinswood Lane, will offer “Sewing-N-Faith,” a free gathering from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. for crafting, sewing, knitting, crocheting and hand or machine quilting to serve those in need.

• Concord Church, 13775 Tesson Ferry Road, will offer a depression/anxiety support group from 6 to 8 p.m.

Tuesday, May 8

• Overeaters Anonymous will meet at 1 p.m. at the Concord Trinity United Methodist Church Library, 5275 S. Lindbergh Blvd.

• Take Off Pounds Sensibly Chapter 186 will meet at 9 a.m. in Rooms 3 and 4 on the lower level at Mary, Mother of the Church, 5901 Kerth Road.

Wednesday, May 9

• The Kiwanis Club of South County will meet from noon to 1 p.m. at Frailey’s Southtown Grill, 4329 Butler Hill Road.

• The South County Toastmasters, the local chapter of an international group dedicated to helping members become better speakers and leaders, will meet from 7 to 9 p.m. at the MetLife Building, 13045 Tesson Ferry Road.

• The Gravois Kiwanis Club will meet at noon at Sam’s Steakhouse, 10205 Gravois Road.

• The Rotary Club of Crestwood-Sunset Hills will meet at 12:15 p.m. at the Holiday Inn-Viking, Lindbergh Boulevard and Watson Road.
