The Mehlville Community Education Department is accepting applications for drivers’ education classes that begin Nov. 3.

The six-week course will meet state re-quirements, including class time and be-hind-the-wheel time. Classes are scheduled from 4 to 6:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday in Room 116 at Mehlville Sen-ior High School., 3200 Lemay Ferry Road.

Some students may be scheduled to drive on Fridays.

Students must be 15 years old at the time the class begins. The fee for the class is $150 for Mehlville residents and $185 for nonresidents. This fee includes a learners’ permit. This permit entitles students to drive only with licensed instructors.
