Matt Henson of Boy Scout Troop 752 received the rank of Eagle Scout during a recent Court of Honor at St. Paul’s United Church of Christ in Oakville. His service project was for his home church, St. Luke’s United Methodist Church on Telegraph Road. Matt improved the disabled parking area adjacent to the entrance of the church. He also made the curbs more visible and removed trip hazards. Matt and the troop also built a bench for members to wait for their rides in comfort. It was made of composite materials so it would be maintenance-free. Matt is shown above with the improvements.
