Matthew Ream of Oakville Boy Scout Troop 824 received the rank of Eagle Scout during a recent Court of Honor at Oak Hill Presbyterian Church, St. Louis.
Matthew created oak recycling receptacles as his service project to replace the plain trash cans that the church was using, according to a news release. Matthew wanted to make recycling convenient for church members so they would recycle regularly, the release stated.
