School is canceled Thursday at Rogers Elementary School in the Mehlville School District.
There will be no in-person learning or virtual learning Thursday, Jan. 12 for Rogers Elementary students due to a power outage at the school that the district was made aware of around 6 a.m. The cancellation only impacts Rogers Elementary; all other schools in the Mehlville School District are in session as normal Thursday.
AmerenUE reported that power may not be restored for another four to six hours and that Fine Road may be closed at times near Rogers Elementary.
Before and after-school clubs and activities held at Rogers Elementary are also canceled along with Y Club. YMCA will be contacting parents of students already at Y Club to make pick-up arrangements.
