Members of the Crestwood-Sunset Hills Rotary Club recently gathered at the Days Inn St. Louis-Lindbergh Boulevard to pack food bags to be distributed to Lindbergh and Mehlville students on Friday afternoons.

Rotarians began the program in the fall of 2013, assisting 25 students in two schools. The program now serves 108 students at nine schools.

Rotarians place roughly 12 items in each weekend meal bag, and deliver the bags to the schools each Friday.

Besides the “Feed the Knowledge” program, the Rotary Club is in its fourth year for its coat program called “Operation Warm.” Including this year, Rotarians have provided over 650 new coats to Lindbergh and Mehlville students.
