Richard J. Katon, 69, died May 25 at St. Anthonys Medical Center.
Born in St. Louis, Mr. Katon resided in Oakville. He was a landscape designer for 35 years and the owner of Highland Gardens Nursery in Oakville.
Survivors include his children, Kevin Katon, Kris Katon and Kyle Katon; former spouse and caregiver, Phyllis Katon; and sister, Margie Sorth. Mr. Katon was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph A. Katon and Edna M. Katon.
Services were conducted at Queen of All Saints Catholic Church in Oakville. Visitation was at Kutis South County Chapel. Burial was in Resurrection Cemetery.
