The ‘Reading of the Fallen’ ceremony last week at Sylvan Springs Park honored those who served in the Vietnam War. During the four-day event, the names of more than 58,000 Americans who died in or as a result of the Vietnam War were read aloud. Craig Wicker, of Oakville, rings the bell after the name of each fallen Vietnam War veteran is read.
