Alyssa Purdy, daughter of Susan and Richard Purdy of Kansas City, and Ryon Owings, son of Victoria and Ronald Owings of St. Charles, have announced their engagement and forthcoming marriage.
Purdy, of High Ridge, graduated from Missouri University of Science and Technology in Rolla with a Bachelor of Science in architectural engineering and civil engineering. She is employed by Bartlett & West as a transporation engineer.
Owings, of High Ridge, graduated from Missouri University of Science and Technology with a Bachelor of Science in computer science and computer engineering. He is employed by Boeing as a software engineer.
The couple is planning a June 10 wedding at Maison Du Lac in Pacific.
