County police are searching for the man who robbed an Affton bank Friday morning.
Police responded about 9:55 a.m. Friday to a call of a bank robbery at the Citizen’s National Bank, located at 9111 MacKenzie Road. A man entered the bank, displayed a black handgun and demanded money, police said. The suspect left the bank with an undetermined amount of currency. No one was injured, police said.
The suspect got into a white four-door sedan with Georgia state license plates. Police believe a dye pack activated inside the vehicle.
The suspect was described by police as a black male about six feet tall with a slender build, weighing between 170 and 190 lbs. He was wearing a green ball call, green t-shirt, and dark colored baggy jeans.
