The St. Louis County Planning Commission is holding three public hearings at its meeting May 15, two of which are located in South County.
The Planning Commission meets at 7 p.m. Monday, May 15 at the St. Louis County Government Center in Clayton, 41 S. Central Ave.
The first South County-based public hearing is a request from Tiffany Mays for amended C-8 commercial zoning to operate an adult daycare center, office, medical office and other C-1 permitted uses at 5000 Cedar Plaza Parkway, off Tesson Ferry Road. The proposal is in the 6th County Council District and the Mehlville School District. There is already an existing 3-story building on 3.14 acres at the address; no new structures are being proposed.
The other South County-based public hearing is a request from Grady CRE, LLC to change C-8 zoning to C-2 zoning at the northeast corner of Old Tesson Ferry Road and Griffin Road. The property is the location of the South County Medical Building and is listed for sale. The proposal is also in the 6th County Council District and Mehlville School District.
The other public hearing on the agenda May 15 is a request from Ameren for a conditional use permit in a residential district for a telecommunications tower on the south side of North Highway 67, west of Robbins Mill Road. The proposal is in the 4th County Council District and Hazelwood School District.
