Planning Commission to hold hearings

The St. Louis County Planning Commission will hold a public hearing next week on two potential developments in south county, including RV parking in Oakville.

The planning panel will meet for the hearing at 7 p.m. Monday, Aug. 20, in the County Council Chambers at the Administration Building at 41 S. Central Ave., Clayton.

Both projects are in the 6th District of Councilman Ernie Trakas, R-Oakville, and in the Mehlville School District.

Chestnut Properties LLC is requesting a change in zoning near Suson Park and Hagemann Road at 5200, 5231, 5232 and 5241 Studer Lane to switch 12.7 acres from NU Non-Urban District and flood-plain zoning to R-1 residential and flood-plain zoning.

J&R Meyer LLC  is requesting a change of zoning for RVs from R-4 residential to C-8 commercial on a 0.3-acre tract of land on the common ground of Berkshire Estates on the east side of Interstate 55, north of Heimos Industrial Park Drive.
