The St. Louis County Police Department Citizens Police Academy Alumni Association, or CPAAA, of south county will conduct its second annual Officer of the Year Banquet Sunday, March 6, at Genesis Banquet Center, 2651 Telegraph Road.

Each quarter of the year at CPAAA general meetings, the organization honors one police officer from the 3rd Precinct and one from the 4th Precinct. Only one of the eight Officer of the Year nominees will be chosen as this year’s winner. The winner will be announced at the awards banquet, according to a news release.

The men and women from the 3rd and 4th precincts are courageous, dedicated and determined to serve and protect the community, the release stated.

The CPAAA last year partnered with businesses to help ensure a successful event and is asking for the business community’s help once again by becoming a banquet sponsor.
