Lindsay M. Piel, daughter of Barbara and Gregory Piel of St. Louis, and Bryan J. Sauter, son of Barbara and Dennis Sauter of High Ridge, announce their engagement and forthcoming marriage.
Piel is a 1998 graduate of Notre Dame High School and a 2002 graduate of Southeast Missouri State University. She earned a bachelor of science degree in human environmental studies and interior design and architecture. She is employed by Kenney Designer Resources in St. Louis.
Her fiance, Sauter, is a 1995 graduate of Vianney High School and a 2000 graduate of Southeast Missouri State University. He earned a bachelor of science degree in business administration. He is employed by the Ee Dee Trim Co.— a family-owned business — in marketing and sales.
The couple plan an Oct. 22 wedding at Christ the King Catholic Parish in University City.
