Micheal Ocello of Oakville has been reappointed to the Missouri Small Business Regulatory Fairness Board by Sen. Maida Coleman, D-St. Louis.
“As per statute, Mr. Ocello represents the small-business community. Mr. Ocello has been actively serving on this board and will continue to be a productive member of same,” Coleman wrote in her reappointment letter to Sen. Mike Gibbons, R-Kirkwood.
Ocello serves as president of the VCG Holding Corp., an American Stock Ex-change company that acquires real estate, restaurants and nightclubs, including adult entertainment nightclubs.
He was elected to the Mehlville Board of Education last year and currently serves as board secretary.
The Small Business Regulatory Board, comprised of state legislators and business people, was established in August 2005.
The board, working with small-business owners throughout Missouri, ensures that the voice of small business is considered when state rules and regulations are created.
