Mary Garrison (née Steimle), 76, died on May 7.

Beloved mother of James "Jimmy" and Amanda Garrison (née Feager); dear grandmother of Tyler Rhives, Achilles Feager, Jimmy Joe Garrison, Eloise Garrison and Penelope Garrison; sister of Judy (née Steimle) and Mitch Bartnick, Barbara "Barbie" (née Steimle) and David Wehner, Joseph "Joe" and Susan (née Boyer) Steimle, Patricia "Patty" (née Steimle) and Dan Joyce, Janie "Jane" (née Steimle) and Steve Frazier, the late Johnny Steimle, Robert "Bobby" and Linda (née Iverson) Steimle, and Gina Steimle; aunt of Matt, Kelly, Dawn, Charlie, Bobby, Julie, David, Lisa, Shannon, Chris, Michael, Daniel, Scott, Patrick, Madeline, Marissa, Jaqueline, Molly and Gretchen.

Dear daughter of the late Joseph "Joe" and Lucile "Lucy" (née Janicki) Steimle; granddaughter of the late Joseph and Frances (née Job) Steimle and Julius and Sophia (née Grabowski) Janicki.

Before retiring, Mary worked as a receptionist for the charitable organization Optimist International, where she was known for her kindness and welcoming spirit.

A memorial gathering will be held at Fey Funeral Home, 4100 Lemay Ferry Road, on May 27 from 4-6 p.m. with a time of remembrance at 5 p.m.
