Paul Taylor of Oakville recently was selected as this year’s Dr. Pepper football model for the “Make It A One Of A Kind Season program.”

He has played football for the Junior Tigers, Oakville Senior High and Truman State University.

The son of Jim Taylor and Patti Taylor, Taylor is an Oakville Senior High graduate who will receive his bachelor’s degree in exercise science in December from Truman State University.

He plans to earn his master’s degree from the University of Central Missouri.

This year’s Dr. Pepper creative shoot features a gritty football player who looks like he just walked straight off the field, according to a news release. The brand wanted the shots to be raw and intense, expressing the electricity of actually being at a game.
