Norman E. Barkey, 74, died Jan. 6.

Born in St. Louis, Mr. Barkey resided in Oakville. He was retired after 36 years from Anheuser-Busch and was a member of American Legion Post No. 299.

Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Mary Ann Barkey (nee Buelt); daughters and sons-in-law, Diane and Steve McClure, Donna and Dan Bridges, Sandy and Joe Blair and Jennifer and Chris Chandler; sons, Gary Barkey and Danny Barkey; mother, Audrey Barkey; sister and brother-in-law, Arlene and Chuck Greer; and seven grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Ervin Barkey.

Services were at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church. Visitation was at Kutis South County Chapel. Burial was in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
