Norman and Midge Karl of Crestwood celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary March 20.
A reception took place in March at the Ocean Harbor Condominiums in Fort Myers Beach, Fla.
Mr. Karl and the former Mildred “Midge” Ussery were married March 20, 1955, at Marks Creek Presbyterian Church in Hamlet, N.C., by the Rev. Arthur Taylor.
He is retired from EG&G Vactec as an electrical engineer where he worked for 20 years.
She is retired from the American Optometric Association as an administrator where she worked for 30 years.
They are parents of two: Eric N. Karl and Kevin L. Karl.
The couple have three grandchildren.
