The Ms. Senior Missouri Pageant will take place at 2 p.m. Sunday, July 12, at the Florissant Civic Theater, 1 James Eagan Drive.

The Missouri Pageant Alumnae Club will present the pageant, “The Best of Times Is Now,” which is for women who reside in Missouri and are at least 60 years old, according to a news release.

The winner will be selected by her performance in four areas of competition:

• A philosophy-of-life statement recited in 35 seconds.

• A personal interview with pageant judges.

• A demonstration of poise by modeling in an evening gown.

• A 2.5-minute competitive talent presentation.

The contestant who best exhibits the elegance, poise and maturity of today’s woman over 60 will be crowned as this year’s queen.

The winner will represent the state of Missouri in the Ms. Senior America Pageant in October.

Tickets for the pageant cost $15 in advance and $17 at the door. For groups of 10 or more, tickets cost $10 in advance and $17 at the door.
