The Missouri Department of Transportation and its contractor HDR will close two lanes of westbound traffic on the Jefferson Barracks bridge on Interstate 255 nightly the week of Jan. 24 through 28, weather permitting.

Crews will close the lanes each weeknight beginning at 8 p.m. and reopen the lanes by no later than 5 a.m. the following morning, according to a news release. Crews will be conducting bridge inspections. One lane of the three lane bridge will remain open during the closure.

Motorists may experience delays during this work and are encouraged to use alternate routes.
