Missouri’s unemployment rate fell to 9.1 percent in March as the state added thousands of jobs in the economic recovery.
Roughly 13,000 more Missourians were employed in March, according to Bureau of Labor Statistics data released Tuesday.
The labor force grew by 4,000 people, meaning Missourians felt more confident about finding a job and started looking again.
The jobless rate was 9.4 percent in February.
