Members of the Mehlville Fire Protection District’s Strike Team have been mobilized and deployed to Joplin to assist in search and rescue efforts, according to Chief Tim White.
MFPD Assistant Brian Chief Hendricks left along with four of Mehlville’s Strike Team members and the Logistics Trailer.
They planned to meet Strike Team No. 1 of St. Charles at Six Flags in Eureka, where all resources will be deployed together to Joplin, White said.
They will be there two to three days for their deployment operational period.
