Melissa Sophia Vishy (nee Lehmann), 28, died Aug. 3.

Born in St. Louis, Mrs. Vishy resided in Columbia. She was a graduate of Truman State University, earning a bachelor of science degree in nursing. Mrs. Vishy was a registered nurse with the Boone County Hospital for five years, most recently working in the 2100 Oncology Unit.

Survivors include her husband, Chad J. Vishy; parents, Robert and Mary Lehmann (nee Schroeder); brother, Michael Lehmann; sisters and brothers-in-law, Michele and Bill Burns and Monica and Brian Dolan; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Gerald and Debra Vishy (nee Pritch); brother-in-law and sisters-in-law, Michael and Marta Vishy and Mimi Vishy. Mrs. Vishy was preceded in death by her brother, Mark Lehmann.

Services were conducted at Queen of All Saints Catholic Church. Visitation was at Kutis South County Chapel. Burial was in Resurrection Cemetery.
