No one at home at time, no injuries reported
Mehlville Fire Protection District firefighters responded to a structure fire in the 5000 block of Fern Beach Road about 9 p.m. Wednesday. When the first unit arrived on the scene, firefighters found a large fire in a single-story ‘weekend home.’ The fire was brought under control in about an hour and 15 minutes. No one was home at the time and no injuries were reported, according to MFPD officials.
