The Mehlville Fire Protection District will be getting a website redesign and new social media management after the Board of Directors voted to contract with Digital Strike and Studio 2108 for those purposes at its meeting Aug. 17.
The board voted unanimously for a one-year contract, which includes a $3,650 monthly fee to manage social media as well as production and content development, and $23,000 for the website redesign.
“After serious consideration of three different firms to overhaul our website and begin to actively communicate more effectively with our citizens, we are making a recommendation that we use Digital Strike and Studio 2108,” Chief Brian Hendricks said.
Hendricks said the content development and social media management would help the fire district “more effectively communicate with our residents about the things we do on a daily basis.”
