Mehlville School District’s Wohlwend Elementary reading interventionist Ellen Geders meets in person with a student through a Plexiglas barrier, with masks. All students in K-12 schools have to wear masks under a new county order.

The Mehlville School District’s School Food and Nutrition Services staff are preparing additional free meals for all families with children 18 and under living in Mehlville School District. The meals are available at curbside grab-and-go meal distribution on Tuesday, Dec. 22.

“We’re thankful to have the opportunity to make sure all students in our district have nutritious meals even when they’re not physically in school,” said Katie Gegg, Director of School Food and Nutrition Services, in a news release.

Four meals per child will be distributed to families during the Dec. 22 distribution.

Families should complete this form by the end of the day Monday, Dec. 21, to let Mehlville staff know how many meals to prepare for the following day. On Tuesdays, curbside grab-and-go meal distribution is at Mehlville High School (3200 Lemay Ferry Road) and Oakville High School (5557 Milburn Road) from 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
