The Saint Louis Performance Academy won a silver medal at the World Baton Twirling Competition in Liverpool, England that took place Aug. 4 through Aug. 13.
The team competed against other teams from around the world. 28 of its 33 members are Mehlville School District students, including Mehville High School Majorettes and Oakville High School Tiger Twirlers. Miles King, a 2023 graduate of MHS, and Kyleigh McCourt, a MHS senior, made it to the finals in the Nations Cup Senior Duet and finished top 10 in the world.
