MCU-Isaiah planning public forum Sunday, Nov. 4

Metropolitan Congregations United-Isaiah, a faith-based community organization of eight congregations in the south county area, will sponsor a public forum Sunday, Nov. 4, on a variety of local issues.

The forum will take place from 2 to 3:30 p.m. at Mary, Mother of the Church, 5901 Kerth Road — one mile south of Butler Hill Road on the west side of the street.

Local public officials have been invited to attend and provide their input on such issues as the redevelopment of the intersection of South Lindbergh Boulevard and Lemay Ferry Road, the high incidence of cancer in the area surrounding the Baumgartner Industrial Park and interest rates imposed for payday loans, according to a news release.

The public is invited to attend the free forum and hear from policymakers who will discuss issues important to the south county area.

For more information, call the MCU-Isaiah Office at (314) 367-3484.
