McBride subdivision proposed at corner of Tesson Ferry Road and Walden Ridge

A new 14-lot subdivision at the intersection of Tesson Ferry Road and Walden Ridge Drive is one of the South County projects up for St. Louis County zoning next week. 

The St. Louis County Planning Commission is holding a videoconferenced public hearing at 7 p.m. Monday, July 19, by WebEx video conference only due to COVID-19.

The project is in the 6th District of Councilman Ernie Trakas, R-Oakville, and is in the Mehlville School District.

McBride Homes is proposing a 14-lot subdivision of single-family homes, requesting a change in zoning from R-3 10,000 square foot Residence District to R-4 7,500 square foot Residence District, as well as proposing a Planned Environment Unit or PEU in the R-4 district.

The subdivision, called “The Townes at Walden Ridge,” would be located at 13803 Tesson Ferry Road, across from Hagemann Elementary.
