Bruce and Jennifer Marr of St. Louis announce the birth of their first child, James Anthony, 20 inches, 7 pounds, 10 ounces. He was born Oct. 9 at St. Anthony’s Medical Center.

Maternal grandparents are Bob and Kathy Gau of St. Louis.

Paternal grandparents are Genevieve and the late James Marr of Trumbull, Conn.
