Editor’s Note: The Two Pedros concert on June 4 was canceled due to inclement weather.
In celebration of its 75th year, the St. Louis County Parks and Recreation Department invites the South County community to get their groove on with free, live, outdoor music this summer.
Bring a picnic blanket, lawn chair and snacks, and settle in from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. tonight at Bee Tree Park, 2701 Finestown Ave., for Two Pedros — whose style includes acoustic covers of classics from The Beatles or Eagles.
Later this summer, join Arvell and Company — who specializes in funk, jazz and more —for a night of music under the sky at Cliff Cave Park, 806 Cliff Cave Road, on August 13.
“This series is part of a year-long celebration honoring 75 years of St. Louis County Parks and Recreation, which has provided generations of families with spaces to play, connect and relax,” the director of parks and recreation, Brian Schaeffer, stated in a release. “The Summer of 75 Concert Series highlights the beauty and diversity of county parks and brings the community together through music.”
These concerts are just two shows in the five-part series across county parks. Other parks with summer concerts include Tilles Park, McDonnell Park and Queeny Park.
