A Lindbergh High School junior took first place at the Missouri Federation of Music Clubs Fourth District Junior Festival on the campus of St. Charles Community College. Laura Rottman earned the Evelyn Rubenstein and Lisa Brown Piano Solo Scholarship Award. She received $200 and now will be the state representative for District IVA at the MFMC State Convention/Competition on May 18 at the University of Central Missouri in Warrensburg. Laura has studied piano under the direction of Donna Bowen Vince, left, of Webster University for the past seven years. The Missouri Federation is part of the National Federation of Music Clubs.
