Lindbergh Schools seeks nominations for 2021 Lindbergh Leaders, focusing on 2020 heroes

This year’s ceremony will honor heroes of 2020

Lindbergh Schools is seeking nominations from the community for its 2021 Lindbergh Leader Awards.

With 2020 a year like no other, this year’s Lindbergh Leader awards will be dedicated to recognizing exceptional service to the school district community during the COVID-19 pandemic.

In addition, the district will honor the 2020 Lindbergh Leaders who were not formally recognized last spring.

The Lindbergh Leader Award honors individuals who show leadership, serve others and give back to the school district community in significant ways. An online nomination form is available at, and nominations will be accepted through 4 p.m., Jan. 25.

The 2021 Lindbergh Leaders will be honored during a virtual celebration Friday, April 9. The 2020 leaders were originally set to be honored at a banquet at Royale Orleans last April, but it was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Lindbergh Leader Award is the district’s highest honor, recognizing excellence in the areas of leadership and service to Lindbergh Schools and the Lindbergh community. Any employee of the district or resident of the community may be nominated. Past recipients include volunteers, community residents, teachers, administrators, retirees, support staff and Board of Education members.
