Lindbergh High School held its 13th annual Musicthon, an event where students play music for 36 consecutive hours to raise money for charity, on April 24 and 25. The student-run event began at 7 a.m. on Friday, and continued until 7 p.m. on Saturday. It was livestreamed for the community to watch.
Approximately just over $9,000 was raised this year for Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation for Childhood Cancer; last year, $8,000 was raised. Since 2014, the LHS Musicthon has raised more than $55,000 to fund childhood cancer research and assist families of children with cancer.
